It was during the height of “iloveyousomuch” and we were doing things like making videos. I had the idea to invite the guys over to the farm and we’d set up in the bean field and start playing and see if anyone wandered over…. Of course we were going to film it.
But Indiana weather had something else in mind, per usual. So, the crew (the band, AJ Casey, plus my recruited son-in-law Curtis) put things together in my garage while the weather threatened. I think we did five takes of this song. This was take two. In fact most sounded great… Only the first one had sound issues.
I can’t express how lucky I am to be able to play with Cory Folz (bass) and Allen Clark III (drums). They have my back and I hope they know I have theirs. We make a mad ruckus and simultaneous joyful noise at the same time.
