There has been a development with the LP I’ve been working on for the last couple of months. Found Footage is on a hiatus as some developments are worked out for an opportunity that popped up out of the blue.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a demo for one of the songs.
The Sequel Part 3 came about one day while I was working on the documentary that feels like it will never end (wink). I was fooling around with a scene and decided to find the tempo for it by playing guitar as I watched.
The music came and seemed to fit some lyrics I’d written, so, I wrote the song instead of finishing the scene. I then popped on the piano and played along with what I’d recorded hoping to create a bit of intimate tension.
My manager, Helen, complained about a note in the brief piano solo. I conferred with my pal Roger (a philharmonic conductor/music director) and he agreed with me that the note worked.
So Suck It Helen! ;)
I’ll have an update about the record and the film soon. In the meantime, download this one and feel free to share. And listen to Paris, Indiana… there’s a development for that too!
